Calls in the browser
Linx is a phone in your browser. Keep the page open to get calls.

Making a call
In the Dialer, type a name, extension or number, then press the call button. Or search at the top of any page (Search people or dial a number), or press Call next to someone in Team.
The first time, your browser asks to use the microphone. Allow it.
Getting a call
The call appears with the caller’s name or number. Press Answer or Decline. If you have Linx open in several tabs, only one of them rings.
During a call
- Mute and Unmute your microphone.
- Keypad for menus that ask you to press a number.
- End call to hang up.
Audio is encrypted all the way between your browser and Linx.
The echo test
Call *43. Linx plays back what you say, so you can check your microphone and speaker. If you hear nothing, see No audio on a call.
